Program Advocacy Officer
Sidekick is a research and creative agency dedicated to driving social change through collaboration and creative participation.
Throughout the past 10 years, we've engaged in diverse initiatives driving policy and behavioural change across Thailand and Southeast Asia. Our approach towards social change prioritises connection and ally acquisition, focusing on building widespread support across diverse segments of the population through shared goals and interests. We also work directly with policymakers, leveraging data-driven insights to ensure the delivery of public needs and interests.
We are seeking an experienced Program Advocacy Officer to work on a new and exciting initiative to promote constructive advocacy to grassroots organizations across Thailand.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing Sidekick’s solution-based and people-centered approach to social change. You will be working closely with senior management to ensure seamless project execution within established milestones and timelines. This position reports directly to the Co-founder, providing a valuable opportunity for learning, particularly for individuals aspiring to advance into management roles in the future.
Responsibilities:

Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual plans, reports and budgets of the assigned project in consultation with the relevant stakeholders.

Support partners in program/project development and implementation.

Develop and maintain relationships with national and local partners and donors.

Contribute to build capacities of partners, enterprises, and beneficiaries on relevant topics such as constructive advocacy and GESI.

Contribute to writing/capturing assigned project learning documents, case studies, video clips and take part in sharing and promoting good practices and lessons within Sidekick and with external stakeholders.

Monitor project spending, review financial reports prepared by partners.

Actively network with relevant working groups, government agencies to develop and implement joint initiatives at local level.
Qualifications:

Open to Thai nationals only

Good written and spoken English

Sound experience in project lifecycle management, resource management, e.g. finance, assets, and partnership development & management.

Good knowledge and experience of project design, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, developing training and IEC materials, inter-agency networking and coordination.

Willingness to travel across Thailand

Prior experience working on USAID-funded projects and advocacy campaigns is a plus.
This is a fixed-term contract position, with possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
